It is important for us to know
the tactics, strategy and schemes that he uses. We really need to know the
instrument he uses against us. So many of us are of
the opinion that the devil is dumb and clueless, some of us even thought he
lost all his wisdom when he was disgraced out of heaven. Come of it, the devil
did not lose his wisdom at all. As a matter of fact, he is smarter than you
think.
Hey, am not hyping the devil neither am I making his head swell, but it
is important we know that he is good at his game. And our job is to beat him at
what he thought he knows how to use best.
The devil is a cunning element that is good at deceiving people and this he has done for years. He is a many faced demon He
knows how to plant a bug in your head meticulously, he plants fears, suspicion
and doubts in your mind. He only has two percent control over your actions. He
plants the thoughts in your mind and walks away. From a few distance, he is
checking on you to know what you will do with the thought. He keeps observing
you to know if you will throw the thought away or build on it. If you accept
the thoughts he planted in your mind, it will start to grow but if you reject
it, the thoughts will die a natural death (still born)
The devil is patient (you may not agree, I know for sure); he is
willing to invest any amount of time on you until he achieves aim. He knows how
to strategically set up strongholds in our mind. He uses this stronghold to
hold you captive, keep you in chains like a lawful captive; he prevents you
from finding your feet back to God. He knows the plan God has towards you, he
knows God wants to prosper you beyond human understanding and he can’t handle
it.
You have to pull down this wrong
thoughts or imaginations. God has giving you the license to do so. You can play
the devil at his game and win him convincingly.
You have to stop blaming yourself
for making too many mistakes in the past. Stop seeing yourself as unworthy for
God’s blessing. If you keep thinking in the wrong direction, you will limit God
from revealing himself to you.
There was a day the devil
attacked my mind with his thoughts. He told me I will never be a graduate simply
because there was no graduate in my family at that point. I didn’t know how my
mind accepted what he threw at me. I struggled to get into the university for
so many years. It was totally frustrating. But after series of attempts, I
gained admission to study political science in 2007, all thanks to the Mercy of God and Grace upon my Pastor, Adeola Simon Priest. And today the rest is
history. I am a graduate.
If you believe what the devil
tells you, it will surely become a reality in your life. He will try to make
you see everything negative about your life, but your knowledge of who God is
to you will not only make you exceptional, it will make you outstanding.
Thank you very much for taking
out time to read my blog, I am most grateful.
