The world is changing
so fast, and so are the people in it. Each passing day, life presents you and I
with opportunities to make a decision. Interestingly, nobody on earth can make
you stay aware from those vices that have been registered in your mind. The
only entity watching over our actions, thoughts and way of doing things is God
but He is limited in certain areas concerning you and I.
He gave us a freewill,
and as long as the Earth remains, God will not infringe on that will giving to
man from the beginning of creation. Only you can make that decisive choice or
decision to evacuate those things that may likely interfere with the life of
victory Christ has assured you and I.
Most Christians are so
engrossed with the affairs of the world that they find it very difficult to
please the Master, which ought to be our number one priority. Have you ever sat
down and ask yourself if it is okay to live the kind of life you are living
today. Have you ever asked yourself if your reckless way of living will be
pleasing in the sight of the all Victorious and Sufficient God? And if
peradventure you have asked yourself this question or you are doing it right
now, it could mean that you are not too convinced of the way you have(are)
lived(living) your life.
I know you have heard
on numerous occasions that life is a series of choices, and the ability to make
a positive one has been deposited inside of you by the Master himself. Living
in victory is also a product of the decisions you have made or the decisions
you are about to make. You really need to make a decision that will not hinder
your walk with the Lord.
I wrote a few things
about David in episode two (2) of these series. Whenever it was time to make a
major decision, he never failed to make enquiries from God. A victorious man
doesn’t do anything in haste. Even if victory is assured, he constantly sees
the need to make enquiries. A victorious man will always ask himself this
question before taking a decision, “If Jesus is in this situation, what He
would do?” “What would be his response?” “Will he have an unconvincing
attitude?” “Would I be relaxed with myself knowing full well that Jesus dwells
inside of me” So you know, God has long left man-made temples and He moved into
our hearts. He dwells inside of us and follows us everywhere.
God speaks to us on a
daily basis, he is totally concerned about you and he wants to guide you right
when making a decision. The sad part is that we don’t really recognize his
voice when he speaks. And even if we do recognize the voice, we decide deep
within us to ignore it. Alas, we start feeling dejected, dispirited and
depressed. God always does his part, he is faithful, he wants to help you make
the right decisions but he needs your permission.
Thank you ones again for taking out time to read this. I hope it made sense
